Thanksgiving en Cayo Largo

Turkey or lobster? 32 or 85 degrees? I guess this year I choosed for my Thanksgiving the warm waters of Cayo Largo just half an hour plane ride from Havana . In the middle of no where this strip of pristine white sand, torquise clear water, marine wild life ..it's just a paradise found ! Do I regret not having pumpkin pie ? No way !

Of course I don't take the sun.. as a good vampire ..so that's why you see me wearing long sleeves shirt, hat ,sunglasses and SPF 70 !

Havana, Cuba

Traveling to Havana is like going back into a time capsule to the '50 . Put on top of that the blinding light of the Caribbean sea and the vibrant personality of the cubans and ...you get in trouble !!! There are only few cities in the world that can keep up with the decadent beauty of Havana , maybe Venice or Naples..everything is so magic, lavish of a dilapidated glorious past.

As a good movie junkie I could not miss the location where one of my favorite movie of all times has been filmed. I'm talking about the 1993 cuban cult " Strawberries and Chocolate" that I highly recommend if you haven't seen it yet.

How long have you been seventeen ?

Of course I had to run to the opening of new movie sensation " Twilight" . I think a new sexy updated styilish harrypotterysh generation is born ! I loved the movie : the set , the gothic and woody atmosphere, the gorgeousness of the young actors..it's a breath of fresh air ..and if you like vampire stories..this is your movie !!
What I loved the most was the line the leading girl says when she realized her boyfriend is a vampire :" how long have you been seventeen ?"and he answers " a while" !! Like all us queens try to freeze our young age for ever !">
