It's quite a strange feeling if you live in Manhattan and one day you wake up on a stretch of sand 3000X650 feet . The absolute peace of this atoll is deeply comforting and nourishing. The saturated torquise color of the water is visually enchanting . The sweet scented breezes from the ocean are calming .It's sad and scary to imagine that in few years this paradise will disappear from the face of the earth because of global warming and raising of the oceans. This particular atoll has been also effected by the 2004 tsunami , another terrible threat to the fragile ecosystem of these islands.
The spa is absolutely fabulous : they have this Maldivian massage made with local sea sand that esfoliate your skin leaving it soft and glowing.We are only 10 guests at the moment at the resort....
