Another very exciting weekend in the city just passed . I did so many things.. Erik and I went to see the movie " UP". We loved it : starting from our super fashionable 3D glasses to the story that I found very touching. It's based on the relationship between and older man and a child that I though it's great educational vehicle to teach children how to respect and learn from the elderly. I particullary loved the kid character Russel who is the prototype of a " pagnottella"! Francesco will laugh at this...

On my way to Christie's to see the preview of the " Interiors" auction I got distracted by a group of " papitos" dancing on Fifth Avenue for the Portorican Day Parade . Hi che rico ! Much calor ! Guapissimi !

After a long walk in the always charming Greenwich Village where street fairs and sweet smell of the Magnolia's cupcakes captured my senses, I ended my day at my friend Mark's amazing terrace in Chelsea to enjoy the sunset and a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zeland. With us my old time highschool friend Lorenza visiting from Rome with her fiancee Paolo. I haven't seen Lorenza in more than fifteen years. It was great to re-connect after so long. It was like time didn't pass...
